  • Ensure correct details (Name, DOB, Parent’s name) as per Aadhar card.
  • Valid Income Certificate and Bank Account linked to Aadhar card are essential.
  • Minority students should apply in National scholarship first to obtain NSP ID before applying in SSP.
  • Renewal for previous applicants available on SSP portal.

2. NSP Scholarship (Sponsored by Government of India)

  • How to Apply: Log in to scholarships.gov.in.
  • Under Central Scheme, explore schemes like Central Sector Scheme of Scholarships for College and University Students.
  • Under AICTE Scheme, find schemes like Pragati Scholarship Scheme for Girl Students, Saksham Scholarship Scheme for Specially Abled Students, AICTE – Swanath Scholarship Scheme.

3. PMSSS Scholarship for J&K Students

  • Implemented by the Government of India for J&K students pursuing undergraduate studies outside the state.
  • Apply through aicte-jk-scholarship-gov.in.

4. KMDC Scholarship

  • Minority students can apply through scholarships.gov.in and obtain ‘NSP ID’ before applying in SSP portal.
  • KMDC also offers the ‘ARIVU’ educational loan scheme.

5. Scholarship for Students from Farmer Background (Chief Minister Raitha Vidyanidhi Programme)

  • Eligible students from farmer families can apply through SSP portal.
  • Family must have agricultural land and obtain ‘FRUITS ID’ via fruits.karnataka.gov.in.

6. Free Ship Card for SC/ST Students

  • Eligibility criteria: SC/ST students, permanent residents of Karnataka, studying in post-matric.
  • Family annual income must be below 2.5 lakhs.
  • Apply at ssp.postmatric.karnataka.gov.in.
  • Aims to expedite scholarship disbursement and serves as a government guarantee to educational institutions.
